About Us
Grounded in the Work. Certified for the Sky.
Stroud Aerial Solutions was built on a simple belief: the right aerial data, delivered by someone who knows the land, changes what's possible for farmers, builders, landowners, and real estate professionals across Alabama and Georgia.
Our Story
Built from the Ground Up
Stroud Aerial Solutions grew out of a deep familiarity with the land and industries of the Alabama–Georgia border region. We saw firsthand how much time, money, and guesswork could be eliminated when the right aerial perspective was available — and how rarely that perspective was accessible to the farmers, contractors, and landowners who needed it most.
We set out to change that. By combining FAA Part 107 certification with purpose-built equipment for each mission type — from precision agriculture spraying to thermal animal recovery — we deliver professional-grade aerial services that are practical, affordable, and built for the realities of working land in the Deep South.
Every flight we take is a commitment to the people and projects we serve. We operate with the same care and accountability we'd want if it were our own land, our own livestock, or our own construction timeline on the line.
How We Work
Results-first
We measure success by what you can do with the data we deliver — not by flight hours logged.
Regionally rooted
We know the I-20 to I-85 corridor — the terrain, the weather, the industries, and the people. That context makes us better operators.
Accountable
Every mission is documented, every deliverable is reviewed before it leaves our hands, and we stand behind our work.
Certifications & Compliance
Licensed, Insured, and Ready to Fly
FAA Part 107 Certified
Every pilot holds an active FAA Remote Pilot Certificate under Part 107 — the federal standard for commercial drone operations in the United States.
Fully Insured
We carry commercial drone liability insurance on every mission, protecting your property and giving you peace of mind on every flight.
Airspace Authorization
We operate within FAA airspace rules and obtain LAANC authorization for controlled airspace operations — so every flight is legal and coordinated.
Alabama & Georgia Licensed
We are fully compliant with state-level requirements for commercial drone operations in both Alabama and Georgia.
Our Equipment
The Right Tool for Every Mission
We don't fly one drone for every job. Each service uses purpose-matched equipment to deliver the best possible results.
DJI Matrice Series
Mapping & InspectionEnterprise-grade platform for aerial mapping, thermal inspection, and construction surveys. Supports interchangeable payloads including RGB, thermal, and LiDAR sensors.
DJI Agras Series
